Effective July 1, 2008 a revised set of waterfront property regulations were established by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services in the Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act.
The regulations provide protection for lake front properties and define specific rules for landscape and construction-related activities in the 50’ waterfront buffer, and for protection up to 250’ from the high water mark.
Belknap Landscape Company has extensive experience in providing Shoreland and Wetland Permitting services to Lakes Region home and business owners. The permitting process is applicable for any tree removal, vista pruning, additions of landscape elements and related activities.
Before we create a Landscape Design for your property, all state and local regulations must be met for the protection of the important natural resource that exists along the shores of New Hampshire’s water bodies.
