Weekly Maintenance – Your lush lawn areas are a source of pride for many homeowners. Our weekly programs include mowing and trimming for a crisp appearance. For field areas, less frequent mowing, brush hogging, and brush cutting is available. Included for our waterfront clients is our weekly beach raking service.

Seasonal Cleanups – Winter wreaks havoc on our New England properties, with broken limbs and debris. Let us clear your lawns, beds and walkways as well as docks and beach areas and let the growing begin! Then, in the Fall, keep your landscape looking beautiful and staying healthy with a bulk leaf cleanup service.

Pruning – Shrubs benefit from structural pruning during winter dormancy for growth management and seasonally, to stimulate flower production and overall health. BLC can provide a free consultation to see which program is best for your type of landscape.

Edging – A crisp edge between landscaped beds and lawn areas creates a neat appearance and keeps grass from encroaching into beds. Usually completed in the Spring before bark mulch installation, edging can be performed throughout the season as needed.

Mulching – Conserve moisture and minimize weeds by the addition of a 1-2” maintenance layer of premium bark mulch, while highlighting your planted areas. For large or hard to reach areas, our power mulch blower is at your service. BLC prides itself in avoiding the creation of mulch “volcanoes” around the trunks of trees which in the long term is detrimental to the health of your trees.

Property Patrol – Our clients with a second home feel safer in the knowledge that we will monitor their interior or exterior systems, snow loads and propane levels while they are away. We also install and monitor Aquatherm dock de-icing units as well as clear debris and ice from eave line gutters and roof valleys.

Mechanical Sweeping/Trash Removal – For commercial and large residential sites, our mechanical sweeper will remove debris which improves the appearance of your property in the eyes of your patrons and visitors. Our courteous employees can change garbage can liners and hand pick littered areas. Both of these services can occur daily, weekly, or monthly depending on your specific needs.
